“This is the Panoramic Karmic Review that everyone has to go through before they die. You walk the Caldera and leave no stone unturned.”—Mother Pele

Nou paha e ka inoa
E ka`ika`iküana
A kau i ka nuku
E hapahapai a`e
E hapahapai a`e
A pä i ke kihi o Kïlauea

Ilaila ku`u kama o Kunuiäkea
E Pele e Pele e
He inoa no Pele -- (Nou Paha—“Yours Perhaps”; Hawaiian Chant to Pele)

Yours perhaps this name
Which people are raising
With loud acclaim
Now raise it
Raise it on high
Till it reaches the innermost recesses of Kïlauea
Enshrined there is my beloved Kunuiäkea
O Pele O Pele
In the name of Pele.
- (English translation, from the Hula Preservation Society)

Even as a young child I was fascinated by volcanoes. During the early travels with my family, side trips to volcanoes in Japan, Bali or the Philippines always stirred up a sense of heightened excitement. These volcanoes were part of a “Ring of Fire” spread out over the Pacific Plate. There is something absolutely no-nonsense and awe-inspiring about bubbling fissures, steaming vents, and molten lava that melts rocks, vegetation and devours everything else that lies along its path.

Usually, the crater of a volcano harnesses the most intense hub of activity. It is a seething cauldron, a crucible wherein the raw elements of life are thrown, melted down, recalibrated and birthed anew. This story is about my encounters with a super cauldron—the Kilauea Caldera—and the impact of its alchemical Fires.

Over the years, other threads connected to Sacred Fire made their impact. For example, I found myself progressively drawn to goddesses such as Kali, Durga, and Sekhmet. They are all goddesses that command the element of Cosmic Fire, fire that cleans and purges, consuming the old and birthing the new. Granted, there have been times when these alchemical flames announced their presence quite forcefully, making it almost too close for comfort. However, my choice to go through with the intensive training and testing meant walking into the fire again and again. It was a choice that the Soul had made. And for better or worse, I have emerged from the Fire more humbled and pliant, more determined, and more focused on my soul purpose.

What follows is a brief chronicle of my encounters with the Goddess of the Sacred Fire. In her cauldron my soul has been tossed, and at times mercilessly fried in her magic brew, or so it seemed. But for every layer of dross that was consumed, the soul came out shinier and more empowered. Although I discuss the various deities related to Alchemical Fire, please understand they represent archetypal forces that inhabit the depths of the personal and collective human psyche. Over thousands of years, they have assumed different shape and form under varying contexts of weather, culture and clime. Ultimately though, they are eternal, all rising from the One. They embody fohat, the purifying cosmic fire that readies the soul for ascension and liberation.

SEKHMET, LION GODDESS-FIRE SNAKE

I will begin with the Egyptian Neter Sekhmet, since I have deep affinities with things Egyptian.

I became familiar with the Goddess Sekhmet through my training in Sekhem, a high- vibrational energy system practiced in the temples of ancient Egypt. Sekhmet, whose name means “strong and mighty,” is the patron of war, love and the healing arts. Many larger-than-life stone statues of her remain to this day in Memphis and Thebes. Usually depicted as a woman with a lioness head sporting a solar disk circled by the uraeus, she is the cosmic kundalini--the essence of sun and stars--the fire snake rising to liberate Spirit from its earthly prison. Sekhmet works in conjunction with her male consort Ptah, who represents primordial fire within the corporeal, and is revered as maker of Heaven and Earth.

From the beginning of my training, my Sekhem teacher told me in no uncertain terms that Sekhmet’s fires would burn away everything that did not serve my highest good. After all, Sekhmet is the Flame shooting forth from the eye of Ra—Father/Sun deity. And no sooner had I embarked upon my Sekhem training that I felt that Flame! It proceeded to incinerate the egoic prison that bound up my light body, dissolving layer after layer of attachment and pretension. By the time I had completed my Master Trainer program, Sekhmet’s regenerative fire had left an indelible mark upon my entire being. It opened me up to many other dimensions.

For the past four years I have been practicing Sekhem (www.sekhem.org).
It has become a vibrational signature that has been integrated into every aspect of my work and my teachings, especially during the whole time I lived in New York.

Then my affinity for the sacred purifying Flame drew me to Hawaii.

PELE, KEEPER OF VOLCANOES

To some people, the name Hawaii still evokes images of bikini-clad girls, sun and surf in Waikiki. Whereas that is definitely a part of the Polynesian ambience, it is by no means the only picture. While living in New York from 2001-early 2004, I kept on feeling the pull of Lady Pele. She, of course, is the keeper of volcanoes--the Goddess of Fire, born as a Flame. Legend has it that having searched for a long time for a home, Pele finally chose Halema’uma’u Crater, on the summit of the Volcano Kilauea, in the Big Island of Hawaii. Big Island is referred to as the Root Chakra of the Hawaiian Island Chain, the source of primal fires that forge Heaven and Earth. Here, more than anywhere else in the world, one witnesses the synchronization of God/Goddess, Masculine/Feminine principles of creation at work, in their most raw and primal form.

CLEARING KARMIC RECORDS

As most of you know, the Big Island is one of the most intense power spots of the planet. In the past four months I have visited the Big Island twice, and was gifted with some of the most potent initiations I have ever received. The first visit around Christmas time 2003 brought home the adage, “Love brings up everything unlike itself.”

“When you visit the Big Island, your stuff comes up. It’s the volcanic energy," I was forewarned by friends.

Right after I arrived in Hilo, I found myself positioned in a set of circumstances that necessitated vigilant re-examination of certain assumptions I had made about love and commitment. Whereas I had tried to cope with an unfulfilling relationship for years, I was also painfully aware that my life was chock full of compromise and self-sabotage programs. Living in Manhattan flushed out many aspects of the shadow side of relationships, including primary relationships that I thought I had already processed through my years of psychotherapy and cultivation as a Buddhist nun. But here they were again—like peeling a big, juicy onion!

As we made our circle around Big Island, hitting all the power spots, the mere contact with the combustible volcanic energy, and the Black Sand beaches, swimming with green sea turtles and dolphins, even the vibrations of the luxuriant fruits and vegetation—all amped up the emotional and central nervous system, thereby pushing up to the surface any aspect that was incompatible to honesty and harmony.

Somehow the prospect of continuing to live in denial, dishonesty and lack of respect—even the tiniest amount--suddenly became totally unacceptable to me. My heart and guts screeched to a stop and yelled, “No!”

During that entire week, the warp and woof that made up the fiber of my relationships came under microscopic scrutiny. I witnessed the unraveling of this delicate, painfully knotted karmic tapestry. For a short while, I took a dive into hell and reviewed aspects of the dark side of intimacy. I was clearly shown all the co-dependent patterns that were so detrimental to my overall well-being. However, something in me knew that this was a unique opportunity to clear out old records, and that by establishing a loving, positive relationship with Self, I would be instrumental in awakening others and contributing to the good of all.

Towards the end of my visit, I was blessed with an overwhelming awareness that the only power which nourishes and supports me does not come from an external agent. It comes from my direct connection to Source. I had to reclaim my own life, not just bits and pieces of it, but the full Monty. And so, by the time I returned to Honolulu, I was a changed woman. I had made my choice, and there was no turning back.

MOTHER’S WOMB AND FATHER’S FIRE

The second trip to Big Island was made in April. My dear friend Shala Mata had flown in from Vancouver Island to join me on this journey. Shala is a “dolphin” sister (www.lightworker.com/shala/ ). We also share profound, ancient connections going back to the days of the Essenes. An affinity for things Atlantean and Egyptian (Osiris/Isis Union) drew us close, and the discovery of the Magdalene/Holy Grail material two years ago rekindled our bond. We have traveled quite a bit in the continental US as well as other countries. We have discovered that various places of power, no matter where they are situated across the globe, carry similar or resonant energies. In fact, like acupuncture points found along major meridians, these hot spots are all interconnected across powerful leylines. Almost inevitably they are stargates, vortices, intergalactic portals, or constitute a part of a mega vortex.

The agenda of our eight-day trip was to fly into Hilo, encircle and criss-cross the Island over to the Kona-Kailua Coast, and then end up back in Hilo. Our first stop was Pahoa, a region about 35 miles southeast of Hilo. This is red-hot volcanic country. Lava beds buckling up right against both sides of the highway bear chronological testimony to Kilauea’s intrepid journey as it pours into the ocean. We stayed in Hawaiian Retreat, a pristine 3-acre tropical nature estate replete with bounteous seasonal fruit, in a rustic Nature Cottage. (www.hawaiianretreat.com) .Our gracious host Eliot Rosen took us to the nearby power spots. Our favorites were the sauna steam vents, thermal warm ponds and tide pools.

This was the second time I have stepped inside a steam cave. Eliot chose a natural steam vent—one of the largest in the neighborhood—which is just a short hike off the main highway. We climbed and then descended into what is essentially the Mother’s navel. Sitting in a rarified atmosphere of odorless and harmless volcanic fumes slowly oozing from red-hued fissures, we had a distinct feeling of nursing in Pele’s womb. The Fire of Father was igniting the Womb of Mother. The three of us formed a triangulation and offered prayers to the Goddess. The rhythmic inhales and exhales of Mother Pele transported us into a light trance. The effect was instantly calming and filled us with a swelling sense of love and delight.

Much of Hawaiian legend waxes eloquent on Pele’s capricious nature. They abound with accounts of her unpredictable and vindictive temperament. We really couldn’t dispute this claim when everywhere in sight we saw steaming earth cracks and molten lava! However, there is another aspect of Pele that makes her the Queen of the islands, her abundance, sensuality and incredible beauty. Pele is a very sexy lady. Her brand of snake-fire kundalini is so palpable that one couldn’t mistake it. During our entire visit, every day, my spine was as if on fire, with the nerves buzzing, and the inside of the cranium crackling under the generous downloads of cosmic codes. The term “sing the body electric” kept on coming back to me. Every atom and cell was awash with cascading liquid crystal that tingled and transformed impurities of body, mind and heart.

THE CRATER’S ETERNAL FLAME

Perhaps there is no place where one feels Pele’s potency more forcefully as within the volcano area. Here she presides as both God/Goddess. She is the Divine Feminine, the volcano being the womb of all creation. She is also the male principle contained within the Feminine-- Shakti--the cosmic spark that activates the machine of primal creation.

The volcanic activity which underlies the entire chain of the Hawaiian Islands is especially volatile here. Belonging to the Ring of Fire of the Pacific Plate, Kilauea is also part of the powerful Lemurian Leyline that connects Mount Shasta to Hawaii, Tahiti and Easter Island. Here, Pele’s continuous eruptions for twenty years have added more than 560 acres of new land along the steep southern slopes. The images of red rivers of magma and plumes of smoke oozing out of Pele’s womb and pouring into the ocean have riveted the world imagination. This hotbed is rife with creative forces at work, engaged in the perennial dance of the cosmic masculine/feminine, ever-dying and ever-renewing itself.

Our visit to the volcano area spanned several days, but here I will only talk about the day we visited Volcano National Park. Kilauea and Mona Loa, are ranked as two of the world’s most active volcanoes. Estimated to have formed from 300,000—600,000 years ago, the volcano has been active ever since. On top of the caldera is Halema’uma’u Crater, principal focus of activity.

As we covered the 11-mile Crater Rim Drive that encircles Kilauea’s summit caldera and craters, we passed through a diverse panoply including rainforest and desert. Never have I traversed such complex, interwoven ecosystems that flow so gracefully from one to the other. It is as though you were encased in a magical evolutionary showcase and viewing it from an astral perspective. We had to keep on pinching ourselves; the whole feeling was surreal.

We stopped at both Halema’uma’u Crater and the gigantic Kilauea Caldera, which are focal points of the most intense volcanic activity. Shala and I walked up to the edge of Halema’uma’u Crater, which lies close to the Southwest Rift zone looking across the Kilauea Caldera to the northeast. Facing the huge Crater, we entered a silent meditation during which we mentally released into the fumes and magma below the memories and records of all negative trauma/drama from our lives, past and current.

We performed this ceremony in other spots on the Big Island as well, each time putting our full intent into releasing old records and being imprinted with new encodings from our I Am Presence. We also prayed for deep healing for our family and friends, and the planet. Another memorable place where we experienced much release and forgiveness is the Bay of Refuge, near sacred Kealakakua Bay.

IMPRINTATION OF THE VOLCANIC GRID

Joy on Cliff

By and large, the most spectacular drive is the 40 mile round trip called Chain of Craters Road. As the trail meanders and descends 3,700 feet onto the coastline, it dead-ends at a lava flow across the road. We passed through different ecosystems and weather patterns. Suddenly, there were brilliant blue skies and sparkling ocean in front of us. Then, over the next bend of the road, we espied space-ship looking clouds hovering overhead, beaming with a gold-silver effervescence which is unique to the atmospheric conditions here. A further ten minutes down the trail, we were met with forceful gales and pounding rain. “Nowhere have I been in the planet where there is such an actively, synchronized balance the elementals at work!” proclaimed Shala in utter amazement.

At the end of Chain of Craters Road, we hiked up to the famous Holei Sea Arch. I climbed up to the very top of the arch, and sat down. Then I gasped in awe and delight! In the vigorous churning ocean beneath, emerald- turquoise waves topped with snow white crests beat up against the weathered arch wall and steep ocean bluffs. In the foaming and seething waves below, I detected a classic electromagnetic vortex. The apex of the vortex is seething with gyration between land and sea. The vortex has an outward flow (electrical) which is balanced with an inward pull (magnetic). It is a perfect yin-yang mandala. Sea and land locked in ever-evolving embrace, birthing new earth right at the southern edge of the island chain!

Sitting on the lavabed, I heard a female voice inside my head. It was clearly articulated, giving firm instruction. “Expose yourself totally to the grid here. Lie on your stomach and breathe in the codes.”

I followed instructions, lying down on the ropey, gnarled lavabed, exposing all fours as well as my belly.

Then the voice sounded again, “Every being that comes here can get what he or she desires. Basically, every one is exposed to the volcanic codes as much as one’s system can tolerate and contain. If you open up yourself totally, you will receive a total download. It is instantaneous—you don’t have to spend a lot of time here. Once the codes are inside you, they will be activated in gradual progression. They will always stay with you.”

Tears welled up and felt hot as they ran down my cheeks. My mind came to a zero point focus…

It was Mother Pele’s voice.

WALKING THE CALDERA

Caldera

On the last morning of our stay in Big Island, I was blessed with yet another vision from Pele.

It was in the early hours of dawn. I was lying in bed, in a semi-lucid state between sleep and wakefulness. Suddenly, I was “spirited away” and taken right to the very edge of the Kilauea Caldera.

A giant expanse of lava rock spread out below, fanning out as far as the naked eye could see. The caldera floor was paved with layer upon layer of lava flows that have spilled out since the dawn of time. Giant, grotesquely shaped black boulders were strewn across the floor. From the ropey, snarled and matted surface, to the jagged, clinkery, gargoyle-looking black stones, the entire territory resembled an eerie moonscape birthed from primal chaos.

And then Pele’s voice rang inside my ears. Her voice resounded like a bell. She spoke with authority: “Walk the Caldera.”

Intuitively, I knew she meant to go around the entire outer rim. This would mean miles and miles of trekking over lava flows and volcanic debris.

“What is this about?” I sputtered, in near panic.

“This is the Panoramic Karmic Review that everyone has to go through before they die. You walk the Caldera and leave no stone unturned. Every human has to do this within their life journey. Some people resist and put up a struggle—which makes it all the more frightening and painful for them. But no one is spared.”

Chills went up my spine as I listened to her words. Pele was not speaking verbally. The instructions came telepathically, as if by thought waves transmitted into my inner ear, and then imprinted in the deepest part of my consciousness.

“But…but, it’s so big!” I blurted out in utter consternation.

She chuckled. And then, in a smoother, more loving tone she went on. “I am simply readying you for this. You can start walking the Caldera now. Walk it every day. Review your life as you live every day, every moment. Leave no stone unturned. Make yourself accountable for your actions, your words, your very thought. Don’t wait till the moment of death to do it. It will be too much work all at once!”

Images of my aging parents, also the aging parents of friends, started to emerge on the screen. Intuitively, I knew they are all taking a walk around the Caldera. That is the reason why some old people seem to shut down their systems slowly. It may seem that they are idling, sometimes for months or years. Actually, they have gone inside, to review, retrieve and reclaim, in their walk around the Caldera of Life, Death and Renewal.

It is now three weeks since I came back from Big Island. I have been walking the Caldera ever since. The place I was taken to was not just the Kilauea Caldera in the 3D. It was rather the Etheric counterpart, which exists in a deep and hidden place inside our psyche, parallel to the material realm. The Caldera, or Great Caldron, is the vat in which the raw data and elements of life are assembled, brewed and processed. In the spiral of universal evolution, primal life forces are forever re-cycled and begotten anew.

Pele’s words still ring in my ears.” Any one who desires to take ownership of their life has to walk the Caldera. You have to repossess your life. The only way to do it is to assume complete emotional responsibility for your choices and your actions. You have to become totally accountable. You can stare at your own death without shirking. That’s the meaning behind walking the Caldera.”

RE-BALANCING THE MASCULINE/FEMININE

Pele has graced my life with bounteous awakenings, in a very personal way. By constantly invoking her presence, I am making steady headway in mending the broken rift between the Masculine/Feminine energies within my Self.

Although I enjoyed fame and fortune as a TV personality in Hong Kong in my early twenties, I felt hollow inside. I became a Buddhist nun at a Buddhist University and monastery in Northern California. I was a nun for fifteen years, during which time I studied for my Doctoral degree in Buddhism and also traveled widely. In addition to a vigorous schedule of spiritual cultivation, I also taught meditation and lectured on Buddhist subjects. We were in touch with many religious groups. This included sects and lineages of Buddhism worldwide, as well as other religious denominations and faiths, including Protestant Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Parsee, Hindu, and many others. As a monastic, I was often privy to an insider’s view of the operations of these communities. This afforded me a clear insight into what I call the “shadow side” of organized religion. By and large, gender equality is not a given. These religious orders were, for the most part, run by men. They were patriarchy- dominated, with women relegated to inferior positions where the qualities of subservience and obedience were considered “virtuous.” I found this to be especially characteristic of many Buddhist groups that maintained Asian origins.

This practice was certainly not in concert with the essential teaching of the Buddha, I thought. The Buddha taught that all beings are equal. All are endowed with the nature and potential for total enlightenment, just as all are endowed with Christ consciousness. Whereas I gained valuable wisdom and knowledge through my training, the prospect of living within a male-dominated hierarchy still based on ancient values of authoritarianism became less and less appealing. Eventually I rescinded my vows as a nun and returned to lay life. Equipped with the knowledge and skills I had acquired through my spiritual cultivation, I felt I could do more for the world being a regular person than a monastic.

In short, I was beginning to reclaim the power of my sexuality. I was starting to feel good about being a woman. I opened up to the initiation of the Sacred Feminine. And Pele has become a driving force behind my own creative journey.

Pele exerts an undeniable, magnetic attraction. Every year, millions of people pour in from every corner of the earth to visit the volcano. There is a noticeable change-a very awesome and exuberant electromagnetic “charge” that comes over you when you find yourself right within the Cauldron of Birth, Death and Renewal. For one thing, you get to experience working directly with the Elohim, architects who oversee the fundamental building blocks of nature and the material realm.

We are becoming more sensitized to the fact that Gaia is a conscious, self-aware living organism, replete with her own nervous system. The network of life on Earth is composed of electro-magnetic currents, geo-electricity, telluric currents, and leylines, laid out in much the same way as the complex nervous system of a human. Being in such close proximity to this intensely vital part of the Earth’s Grid activates certain codes; it jump-starts our ancient neural connections. Although people may not know this on a conscious level, they go away transformed, imprinted with the volcano code within their spiritual DNA.

Yes, Pele has gotten very well known. The emergence of the Sacred Fire Goddess is indicative of a global balancing of the unbalanced male and female energies. Men and women are waking up each day to the need for integrating the polarities within their nature. They are driven to repair the broken trust, betrayal and separation perpetuated over hundreds of years from generation to generation. And this is tied to the emergence of yet another Goddess archetype—the Goddess of Alchemical Transformation and Sacred Union—Mary of Magdalene.

MAGDALENE: HIEROS GAMOUS (Sacred Marriage)

In just the past few years there has been a growing fascination with the Magdalene legacy. This is evidenced by the publication of The Da Vinci Code by author Dan Brown, as well as other books on similar subjects. The Da Vinci code has been a number-one best selling book for months. Magdalene, in her multiple aspects, has captured the world’s imagination. There is Mary of Magda, the historical person; and Magdalene, the archetypal Twin Flame/Goddess archetype.

The Magdalene archetype has intergalactic origins. Her intimate relationship with Yeshua is closely linked to the Osiris-Isis archetype of ancient Egypt. Magdalene is also closely affiliated to Venus and Sirius. With the emergence of the Magdalene lineage after 2000 years of occlusion and repression, the feminine face of God is coming to light. For many, Magdalene is finally being acknowledged as the consort, Twin Flame, primary student and equal partner of Yeshua. The notion of Sacred Marriage—the hieros gamous—provides a refreshing prototype and model for life-sustaining partnership. It is bringing about profound healing. The very concept that God/Man enjoyed an intimate and deeply loving relationship with a woman, who was his equal, is starting to heal the fragmentation inside the world psyche. It is reinstating a long-awaited wholeness and healing (both words are synonymous with the word “holy”) to human consciousness.

DOLPHIN TWIN FLAME CODES

Another highlight of the Big Island trip was swimming with the dolphins—what else? We went for two dolphin swims on a boat. On our first trip, our group chartered a private 28-foot hard-bottomed raft, and headed north off of Honokauhau Harbor. In less than 45 minutes we were greeted by a pod of over twenty spinner dolphins jumping and performing flips all around us. They beckoned with glee. Suddenly I was in the waters.

The turquoise waves sent tiny tremors up and down my spine. It took a few minutes for the body to adjust to the coolness of the water. And then the dance began. Instantly I found myself transported into a holographic grid. The sun’s rays from above shooting down on the water formed prismatic angles in the sapphire blue matrix of the ocean, glistening with golds and silvers. I knew that the exquisite geometric patterns that emerged were a part of the Blue Print of the eternal ocean of consciousness.

The second day we followed pretty much the same routine, although this time we were met by a group of about twenty spotted spinners. “Very Atlantean,” said Shala.

On the third morning, a small group of my women friends was scheduled to meet at Ho’okena Bay. The dolphins have been coming inside the bay, very close to shore, so the women decided that they would swim out and play with them. I wanted to go too, but actually felt unwell. We were staying up on the mountain in Captain Cook, and I had gotten a little chilled in the early hours of the dawn. And so in the end, only Shala went for the dolphin swim. I stayed inside our cottage and proceeded to vomit. I knew something was up. What I could no longer “stomach” inside was finally being released. I welcomed the relief that came afterwards.

Within three hours, Shala was back. She had been taken into a Double Helix Portal by the dolphins, spiraled down, down, down, and was imprinted with Twin Flame Codes. She was radiant and oh so excited.

“Let me work on you,” she said, “This is the dolphins’ gift to you too.”

As soon as she laid her hands on my body, the Codes started to download. The electro-magnetic charge was potent, felt as pulsating waves of electricity buzzing up and down the spine and crackling inside the skull. In an instant the geometric symbols that I had seen in the ocean came up again, along with cadences of sacred sounds, and they were morphing from one to the next in a crystalline matrix. The room was lit up with the radiance of a multi-faceted diamond. Is this what Rumi meant when he said “I will meet you out there in the Field”?

A sense of deep serenity descended upon me as I lay there. This time the Twin Flame codes became even more firmly seeded inside my Heart, and then expanded outward filling up every atom, cell and neuron of the body, until everything was awash with liquid light. The ocean’s holographic Blue Print is a mirror reflection of the Earth’s Light Grid, which is Earth’s ascended merkaba--her light body. As above, so below. We are all made up of the same material as the sun, moon and stars. We are divine, in every aspect.

Surely, our Soul Mate is our Soul; our Twin Flame is our authentic Self. He or she might manifest in a physical body, if that is your choice. But now I know beyond a doubt that the Beloved is found within. When you have connected your Beloved in spirit and consciousness, you can then magnetize the physical embodiment of him/her into your field.

VENUS TRANSIT: THE GODDESS PORTAL

In this article I have laid out some of the archetypal goddess energies that I have worked with personally in recent years, and hopefully shed some light on their impact on shifting collective consciousness.

Since 2004 is attributed to Mastery, it seems this article will not be complete without mention of the single most lauded astronomical event of the year—the Venus Transit of June 7/8.

On that day, the planet Venus passes directly between the Sun and the Earth. This unique phenomenon occurs in pairs, separately by 8 years. Whereas the transit events are quite close (the second transit will occur in 2012), the actual pairs are separated by approximately 122 years. The last Venus Transit happened in 1874/1882. The significance of the Venus Transit of June 8, 2004 is that it ushers all of mankind through the Portal of the Goddess. Venus is the sister planet of Earth. Almost the same in size as Earth, she is the evolved, enlightened sister overseeing the spiritual evolution of our own Terra.

On June 7/8, Venus will eclipse the sun for a period of 7 hours. When she passes directly before the Sun, she will radiate all her qualities of the Divine Feminine. This massive dose of Goddess energy will then be projected on to our Earth via the rays of the sun. Already as I write this article in May, many are experiencing electrical alignments in their bodies, and waves of surging emotion. This is leading up to a profound alignment of energies that will bring about significant shifts in earthbound realities. Both men and women will come to honor and acknowledge the God/Goddess energy within themselves.

In recent weeks and months, we have been experiencing pronounced shifts in global awakening. Frequently these are somewhat “rude” awakenings during which the global psyche gets a kick in the butt so humanity can wake up to our destructive patterns of mass addiction and bondage.

Here I refer to the male-dominated constructs of suffering, conflict, violence, disharmony, and deception that have been the underpinnings of mainstream culture. Even these constructs have been abruptly shaken up and are ready to be transformed. Witness the explosive exposés of the Catholic Church sex abuse scandals, or the US military abuse of Iraqi prisoners and the sex scandals in the arenas of politics, sports and entertainment. The fact that these events are so close to home have earned them global notoriety due to sensational media coverage. However, there are just as many other atrocities committed throughout the world, rampant child abuse and rape cases perpetrated by male AIDS carriers in South Africa and other cruelties committed against women in Bosnia, Afghanistan, and various parts of the Arab world. And it’s not that such atrocities did not happen before. They just did not manage to capture the attention of the global community. However, the soul-propelled yearning for change and transformation, and the knowing that the old ways cannot go on unchecked have reached critical mass. The dark poisons are being brought to the surface. Collectively as a world community, we are developing emotional transparency, and shifting the assemblage point of a long-suffering, guilt-ridden and fear-propelled agenda. Finally, we can choose a new consciousness--love and harmony—to redefine the human experience.

SUMMARY

“We are the ones we have been waiting for.”—Hopi prophecy

The arrival of brilliant Venus signifies the return of Harmony, Beauty, Sensuality, and Soul Communion to our planet. The rise of public fascination with Hathor, Isis, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Kuan Yin, and Pele, to name a few, are symptomatic of the return of the Goddess. A common theme runs throughout the métier of these goddesses—they appear during a Great Shift of global consciousness, when Earth is ready to upgrade to the next level. The Goddess energy is here to facilitate the sweeping away of antiquated paradigms that have long served their purpose. The Goddesses are here to usher in the energy of a new and balanced era, the hallmarks of which are emotional transparency, absolute honesty and integrity, and soul connection. As men and women willingly enter the Cauldron, the crucible for psycho-spiritual melt down and regeneration, they graduate to a new level of love and acceptance for themselves as they are. It is time to repair, rejuvenate and nurture Mother Gaia. It is time to heal, and time to celebrate the Wholeness that is ourselves.

Indeed, we are the ones we have been waiting for.
