WHAT IS A HOMA?

A Homa is a fire ritual described in the Indian Vedic tradition, also practiced in Hinduism and Buddhism. It consists of making offerings of herbs, flowers, fruits, incense, etc and consecrating them in a sacred fire, to help people quickly remove their obstacles and attain blessings. It is performed by a group of priests who invoke the Divine, and the ritual is considered powerful and effective Beginning end of July, 2008, we are pleased to offer a series of 12 Homas If appropriate, please post this information on your website so more people/your friends or subscribers can benefit or send info in your newsletter, or announce the information on your conference calls/radio show.

A series of 12 Homas (one each month) will be performed in Kochi, Kerala, in India, by a very knowledgeable and venerated Vedic Scholar and Priest of a sacred Temple. The first homa is on July 30th, 2008, called Kaala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Homa - to clear Rahu and Ketu Doshas (from Vedic Astrology - these conditions make one work harder, but with fewer good results and life seems very harsh or hard - for when times are bad in one's life.)  The second Homa (Amma Anugraha Homa) is on August 15th to set right one's relationships with one's own mother, and attract the Grace of Universal Divine Mother. August 15th is India's Independence Day, and Sri Amma's Birthday. Sri Amma is the wife of Bhagavan Kalki in India, and both of the wife and husband team are people who had reached divine status.
